The attic of a characteristic 1970s drive-in house in Breukelen has undergone a complete transformation under the guidance of Abstrct: from a standard, uninspiring space of approximately 40 m² into a luxurious, comfortable, and elegant master ensuite.

The Ultimate Loft Sanctuary
Where the floor was once divided into two bedrooms and a small bathroom, a spacious, open, and tranquil living floor has now been created.
The residents now have their own private floor with a king-size sleeping area, a double washbasin for him & her, a toilet, a wonderful rain shower, and a spacious walk-in closet in which the washing machine and dryer are also seamlessly integrated. The bathroom tiles formed the starting point for the design and determined the color palette: from bianco marble and soft beige to brown-aubergine, soft taupe, and warm copper-brown. A rich and inviting palette that connects the entire floor.
The shutters with a custom-designed pattern by Abstrct give the space a symbolic and unique appearance, while simultaneously contributing to a pleasant indoor climate due to their insulating effect. The walls, doors, and ceilings are finished with an exclusive fresco paint from Pure & Original, giving the master ensuite a velvety, serene atmosphere.
The result is an exquisite, luxurious floor where peace, comfort, and sophistication come together, a perfect retreat within one's own home.
